Review:
I bought the Enermax to reduce the noice that was coming out of my pc. The installation was done in 15 minutes, but that's because I couldn't
get my old PSU out. One of the screws was bent :(
After installation I connected all cables, which were more than enough with all kinds of connectors like SATA, fan etc. and most of them sleeved,
and powered him up. the two fans in the Enermax are quiet. I used to have my pc under my desk and I couldn't hear the two fans. Now I have
watercooling and have put my pc on my desk. I can hear the two fans a little. but if I put my pc on rubber feet, I can barely hear them.
I have the fans set on the lowest speed (1022RPM) and that's enough. If you switch to a higher speed though, you will hear the buzz of the
air coming out of your pc.
The two fans are doing a good job in keeping the PSU and my case cool. I have watercooling now, so the Enermax fans are the only fans (and one
120mm fan in the front for cooling my hdd) for the airflow.
Positive:
- Quiet
- Manual and automatic fan control
- Enough cables and connectors
- Nice black/yellow cable sleeves
Negative:
- Noisy on high fanspeed
